- Andrew Jenkins joined the Institute in 2000 and he is currently
Senior Research Fellow in the Centre for Research on the Wider Benefits
of Learning.
Andrew's main research interests are in the benefits of adult learning. He has conducted research on the effects of lifelong learning on labour market outcomes and the mental health benefits of learning for older adults. He is interested in methods for the analysis of longitudinal data and also in ways of using longitudinal data to understand social and historical processes.
